PRESIDENT AND PARTNER
In his 25 years with MJA, Mike has shaped the agency’s reputation by devising media strategies and overseeing the day-to-day operations. Throughout his career, he’s negotiated over $2 billion in media deals for Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, Men’s Wearhouse, Time Warner Cable and more – while winning armfuls of Clio, Telly, Davey and W3 awards along the way.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/PARTNER
A core contributor to MJA’s long-term direction and creative strategy, Scott oversees client relations in both advertising and sponsorship events. Since joining MJA in 1998, he’s been an integral contributor to the firm’s growth and expansion, bringing in such landmark clients as Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, the Shrine Auditorium, Smirnoff Ice, California Speedway, AT&T and more.
In addition to winning multiple Telly, Davey and W3 awards, Scott is also an accomplished musician and songwriter, using his extensive musical background to enhance MJA’s commercial production.
VICE PRESIDENT AND PARTNER
An MJA employee for over 20 years, Linda was instrumental in the development and planning of the nationwide expansion for The Men’s Wearhouse. In addition to strategy and marketing, she oversaw a $50 million media expenditure, encompassing 110 cities and more than 1200 TV and radio stations.
Liane works closely with Michael Cunio and Scott Cooper in coordinating all aspects of the administrative side of the business. In addition to trafficking TV and radio commercials, she coordinates scripts and co-op schedules, checks media contracts, spearheads press releases and acts as an additional point person for clients. In short, Liane does it all.
Prior to joining MJA, Lisa spent six years at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, working on release strategies for Spider-Man, Men in Black, Charlie’s Angels, and more. In addition to working on-site at client properties, Lisa coordinates integrated promotions and live events while acting as liaison between clients and promotional media partners.
ART DIRECTOR AND INTERACTIVE PRODUCER
Ethan has worked as an Art Director and Interactive Producer for over a decade for a wide range of clients including Warner Brothers, Global Green, (BMW DesignWorks USA, Great Oaks Productions (John Hughes Production entity) and more. He currently serves as the Art Director at MJA Advertising.
A native of Los Angeles, Justin Leibow intuited a creative life the very day he picked up his first pencil. Seamlessly engaged in creative direction, live action, design and photography, Justin crafts unique visual campaigns. His diverse talents and keen sensibilities spring from his grounding as a director and graduate of UCLA’s School of Design.
In 2005, Justin co-founded Superfad, the genre-bending design and live action production company where he served as both owner and ECD. Within a few years, employing a staff one hundred strong, the company expanded again to open their fourth studio in London. Ushered by Justin’s contributions as he organically fluctuated between director and creative director, Superfad created award-winning advertising work for myriad brands, some being Visa, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Gap, Sprint, Samsung, Target, Honda and MTV. After 8 years of critical success there including multiple top AICP awards and Cannes Gold Lions, Justin is now directing content worldwide and independently creatively directing. On top of that, his sharp-witted films and cinematic photography enable him vivid individual expression on a daily basis.
Lauren has over three years of experience in digital media planning and buying, working on omnichannel display and video campaigns. Video KPIs include Completion Rate & CPCV. Display KPIs include CPC, CPA, CTR, ROAS, delivery, CPLPV, CPUV, walk-ins, and cost per app-download. She worked on the programmatic team for two of those three years managing a high volume of campaigns (both client-direct and agency) out of the Northwest; managing $2.8MM gross and over 50 live campaigns daily. Lauren has experience working with a wide variety of clients in different verticals, such as health care, banking, auto, travel & tourism, airline, and casino.
Mike Dusenka joined MJA in 2016, bringing much lauded skills to the team. His background as a Director of Photographhy, Motion Artist and Editor has elevated every brand he has touched since his arrival. From Smashbox Cosmetics to Star Wars, his range of client experience gives him unique insights into the world of advertising. Mike’s cinematic work was also honored as an Official Tribeca Film Festival Selection. Since joining, he has worked with MorongoCasino Resort & Spa, Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, Boot Barn, and Geary’s of Beverly Hills.
